Log & Stump Cluster Activity Pod

The Log & Stump Cluster Activity Pod is an exceptionally effective way to incorporate a gamut of sensory engagement into your space without the larger profile. Children engage their gross motor skills in climbing and test their vestibular development as they balance, navigating across and between the stumps. We include stumps cut at variable heights, combined with rounded log-lengths to break up the uniformity and challenge our kids to read the situation, plan their route, and react accordingly. Our Log & Stump Clusters are always popular in outdoor education spaces as they engage young imaginations. They’re also fantastic when used in unison with our (or your own) loose parts kits as they provide a base for DIY catwalks and obstacle courses.

Stump Cluster Pod

Packed with gross motor challenges and sensory engagement, the Stump Climber Log Planter Pod is both a developmental and aesthetic winner in any outdoor space. The log border is organic and non-prescriptive, allowing children to utilize the structure and challenge themselves and their imaginations. The planting space atop the pod allows for additional sensory stimulation with touch, smell and proprioception as children interact-with and navigate the planted material and its very own ecosystem.

All framed pods can be installed with sand, mulch or planting soil.

Wacky Amorphous Tunnel Pod

A cohesive microcosm of sensory engagement; our Wacky Tunnel Planter Pod checks every sensory engagement box while keeping children engaged and excited to interact with all its components. This pod offers up a carved log tunnel built into the log border, an amorphous log in its center, a set of stump cluster climbers alongside a pair of wacky posts, and finally a stump cluster log planter. Gross motor, fine motor, vestibular, smell, touch, sight, sound and proprioception; this modular sensory powerhouse really does include everything in its compact form.

All framed pods can be installed with sand, mulch or planting soil.

Wacky Furniture Pod

Much like our Wacky Tunnel Planter Pod, the Wacky Furniture Panel Pod is a sensory engagement “Mega Pod”, composed of multiple intermingling sub-pod units. The Pod is complete with acrylic panel, stump cluster climbers, wacky posts, hand carved log furniture and planted material embedded in an impact-rated textured EWF surface. This pod runs the developmental gamuts, providing ample opportunity for gross motor, fine motor, creative, vestibular, proprioceptive and communication development.

All framed pods can be installed with sand, mulch or planting soil.

Wacky Post & Log Border Pod

This Pod combines the gross motor benefits of elevated climbing stump structures around its perimeter while promoting vestibular development through the use of slack-lines that may span its Wacky Posts. Children will seek-out the bouncing motion while engaged on the line, concentrating on balance and weight distribution, developing their kinesthesia while focused on equilibrium and balance.

Wacky Post & Log Tunnel Pod

This Pod combines the gross motor benefits of elevated climbing stump structures around its perimeter while promoting vestibular development through the use of slack-lines that may span its Wacky Posts. The pod is capped-off with a beautifully handcrafted log-tunnel leading to its EWF (Engineered Wood Fiber) interior built for impact resistance and sensory engagement.

All framed pods can be installed with sand, mulch or planting soil.

Wacky Post Pod

This Pod combines the gross motor benefits of elevated climbing stump structures around its perimeter while promoting creative play within. Children will seek-out the sensory engagement and creative outlet available in the sand/mulch/soil play portion of this pod which also acts as a natural impact-rated surface. The Wacky Posts, located on all four corners, can also be used in conjunction with slack-lines for vestibular play as well as sheets and other dressings for even more dramatic/creative expression as children build forts and storylines.

All framed pods can be installed with sand, mulch or planting soil.
